This listing is for a rare vintage 1920s “Vincent Bach Corp., New York 7C” trumpet mouthpiece in EXCELLENT CONDITION for a 100-year-old mouthpiece! As an added bonus, another mouthpiece is included free of charge, which is an “H.N. White Co. 11 Equa-tru” trumpet mouthpiece that isn’t even close to being as pretty as the Bach mouthpiece, so that one is definitely not in excellent condition, but is still in functional condition (see photos). The two mouthpieces are very similar in size and design, but have different cup sizes, which is why I’ve included the second mouthpiece. As mentioned in the last screenshot, the early Vincent Bach trumpet mouthpieces have a slightly different shank taper, so while they fit perfectly in a Bach receiver that was made prior to 1955, they don’t have a perfect fit in modern trumpets. Ideally, they should be used with a pre-1955 Bach or Bach compatible trumpet receiver, but they can still be used in modern trumpets if a slightly less than perfect fit is tolerable by the musician. The difference in the pre and post 1955 tapers is is very minor, such that they will still function well in a modern trumpet. Just note that it is not a perfect fit in modern trumpets.
