California Prop 65 Warning:an incredible find
Please note I am NOT an expert on this item at all, so all this information is just my opinion, you’ll have to be the judge of this fantastic collectors item for yourself . this is a BKA 98 prop gun, it’s a revolver that’s extremely heavy, and extremely well made , that also comes with a holster , and the holster is marked 38 Mexico C 44, which I think is fantastic, don’t know what that means. Please also note I did absolutely nothing to this item, I didn’t try to clean it up , or change it in any way whatsoever , all I did is take pictures, this item will clean up really nicely , if that’s what you choose to do, or you can just leave it alone, and add it to a really cool collection , either way this is a fantastic find, and it would be a great gift, for any collector or any collection. The prop gun , the only marking I can find is BKA 98 . the hammer cocks back , it does fire but not completely all the way, and where you put the bullets in, it spins only when you spin it with your finger. there’s a couple other items that move on this prop gun . The prop gun and the holster are a used item, I don’t know what year this set was made, probably the 1960s-80s could be earlier could be later, just a guess, because this is a used item there are scratches, dings,dents, stains , missing paint, missing threads, tears, rips ,and could be missing parts, but that’s all to be expected,for as old as this item is, and I think it gives this fantastic set Great Character. I believe The holster is leather , in my opinion, it’s got some really intricate markings, and a super cool COWBOY WESTERN LOOK TO IT , a very sharp looking and very cool design. this item was found on the east coast of the United States the Maryland area to be exact.
