The estate-fresh pieces we list are for you.Some run; some do not but none have been cleaned, oiled and calibrated, so whether it is running at the time of this writing or not, one must have the piece serviced before wearing it as an everyday driver.We’re pleased to offer this 1944 Lord Elgin dress wristwatch in surprisingly good original condition. Measuring approx. 36 mm by 22 mm – not counting crown, of course. The watch is one of those pieces that you can use on the set for your production or wear bumping around the marina – whether you’re a rag-man or a stink-potter. It’s nice enough to have its original Elgin 21 jewel grade 559 15/0 movement serviced and worn to events or give to that beautiful loved one of yours who deserves something nice. Salmon dial and classic yellow gold-filled curved case with original thick glass crystal. Some wear to back of case. Sharp watch on the wrist with very good energy. PLEASE NOTE: This handsome work of horological art by one of the world’s most accomplished watch houses has wonderful wrist presence and has run and set well for us. However, IT MUST BE SERVICED – that is to say, cleaned, oiled and calibrated — before being worn as an everyday driver.
