Magritte Healer (le Therapeute) Man with Birdcage Body Seated on Rock Surrealism Statue new 12/27/22 Rene Magritte’s surrealist statue The Healer (le Therapeute) illustrates a man sitting on a rock with the most unexpected torso — a bird cage with two birds. We see that it is a man because of the hat, hands and two panted legs, and briefcase. However, the void where the man’s torso would appear, Magritte has instead placed a bird cage. True to the Surrealism art movement, the sculpture is an unexpected combination of the real and the imaginary. Part of the museum reproduction collection created by Parastone Mouseion 3D. PN MAG07 The details have been meticulously recreated in resin with a bronze finish, and metal wire to make the bird cage. Measures 7 3/4 in H x 8 in W x 4 1/2 in D. Weighs 3.5 lbs.
