Here’s an antique hand painted porcelain trinket box with a top design that depicts a French style cottage or chateau. The fittings are brass. The hinge is in excellent condition and is in original condition. I believe the box is enamel over copper. The box measures 2⅝ inches wide and 1 inch tall. It is in excellent condition with no nicks or damage. The lid closes with a good seal. The base brass fitting looks original. The interior has a little discoloration. The box is signed BR and “Made in France” on the underside. Please read the description carefully and review all pictures as they are a part of the description. All measurements are approximate.
